Detailed information

Product detailed description

Nokogiri (鋸) are special Japanese saws used throughout Southeast Asia. Unlike European ones, these saws are primarily designed for cutting by pulling (not pushing away). The main advantage of these saws is high precision cutting. The Ryoba type has a double-edged blade with different tooth bevels for cross and rip cutting into wood.

Saw features:

✅ "Pulling" saw
✅ Fine teeth ground on three sides
✅ Double-sided blade for cross and rip cutting
✅ Suitable for soft and hard wood
✅ Classic handle wrapped in rattan
✅ High-quality workmanship
✅ Made in Japan

Why want a pull saw?

Japanese saws, unlike European ones, are made for cutting by pulling. This cutting method requires less effort and allows you to make a precise, clean, and accurate cut. Moreover, the iconic narrow and flexible blade of Japanese saws does not twist during the pulling motion, so your cut remains perfectly straight. Most Japanese hand saws have a higher blade profile and high tooth density. The ideal tool not only for adjusting details on your projects. Want to know more?
