Detailed information

Product detailed description

Nokogiri (鋸) are special Japanese saws used throughout Southeast Asia. Unlike European saws, these are designed primarily for pull cutting (not pushing away). The main advantage of these saws is the high precision of the cut. The Ryoba type has a double-edged blade with different bevels for cross and rip cutting into wood.

Saw features:

✅ "Pull" saw
✅ Fine teeth sharpened on three sides
✅ Double-edged blade for cross and rip cutting
✅ Suitable for soft and hard wood
✅ Classic handle wrapped in rattan
✅ High-quality craftsmanship
✅ Made in Japan

Why want a pull saw?

Japanese saws, unlike European ones, are made for pull cutting. This way of cutting requires less effort and allows you to make a precise, clean, and accurate cut. The iconic narrow and flexible blade of Japanese saws also does not twist during the pulling motion, so your cut remains perfectly straight. The vast majority of Japanese hand saws have a higher blade profile and high tooth density. An ideal tool not only for detailing your projects. Want to know more?
